Designing custom typography and cover art for the single “Don’t Go” by Skrillex, Justin Bieber, and Don Toliver was a thrilling project that perfectly captured the energy and nostalgic vibe of the track. Tasked with creating a visual identity that would resonate with listeners both visually and aurally, the project required a custom typeface that was edgy and modern while also nodding to the 90s R&B influences of the song.

The design process, under the creative direction of Creative Director, Marilyn Hue, involved crafting a typeface that balanced boldness with subtlety. The final typeface design featured a clean yet contemporary look, with a playful shear that matched the smooth and pop-filled essence of the track. The design incorporated a playful balance of thick and thin lines, reflecting the sonic textures of “Don’t Go.” This typographic approach not only aligned with the track's nostalgic elements but also brought a fresh, modern edge to the visual presentation.

The cover art and typography were well-received, contributing to the single's success. “Don’t Go” garnered over 100 million streams across all digital platforms and secured a spot in the Top 100 tracks on Billboard for multiple weeks. The design’s ability to resonate with the track’s emotional and auditory layers played a significant role in its widespread acclaim and enduring popularity.
