The design and motion graphics process for the custom collection inspired by the collaboration between Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream and rapper Yung Gravy was a vibrant and innovative endeavor. The collection features a silk bowler shirt emblazoned with a distinctive collaboration logo lockup on the left chest, reflecting a fusion of both brands' identities. Two drink coasters, designed with a vinyl album cover aesthetic, add a touch of retro flair to the set. The centerpiece of the collection is a striking DP red gravy boat, designed to hold and serve Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream, complete with a straw for a playful and unique drinking experience. Additionally, Yung Gravy's single, "Strawberries & Creamin'," adds a musical dimension to the collection, celebrating the collaboration with a custom track.

In collaboration with Deutsch LA studios, the project extended into the realm of motion graphics with a fully 3D animated lyric video for the single. The video features Yung Gravy alongside a tiger and a mysterious Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream character, creating a fantastical scene where they jam out to the track and spray an animated crowd with Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream soda. The animation captures the playful and dynamic spirit of the collaboration, blending vibrant visuals with the energetic essence of the music. The track itself creates a 70s sound bed with painfully clever lyrics and word play over top and a hook that is sure to loop in your mind endlessly for weeks at a time.

On the day of the collection's launch on the NTWRK app, a special music video premiere showcased another creative twist on the track conceived by the creative minds of the NTWRK brand partnerships team. Set in a laundromat colored in Dr Pepper brand hues, the video begins with a woman opening a can of Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream. As she gazes into the can, a portal transports viewers to a small studio where Yung Gravy performs the single into a microphone and showcases some retro dance moves. The video concludes with a framed image of the collaboration's silk shirt and the two Dr Pepper variants: Strawberries & Cream and Strawberries & Cream Zero Sugar. This launch event and accompanying visuals not only highlighted the unique products but also reinforced the playful and engaging nature of the collaboration. The Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream x Yung Gravy collection premiered on May 26th, 2023 and can be streamed on all platforms now.
